First time coming across a casing/backband combo like this one. The two pieces are first joined with glue and pocket screws. No way to get a biscuit in the joints, but still able to use the clam clamps and stitch together with 1/2” narrow crown

I’d guess we’ve drilled around 10,000 pocket holes since we started using the Kreg Foreman pocket hole machine. Here I am using it to join the casing and back band combo. Works amazing!
